This review is from: Sony XSGT5725A 5-Inch x 7-Inch Coaxial 2-way Speakers (Electronics)
I put these in my 1999 Escort ZX2 on the rear shelf, and it was a very good move. They are not too expensive, but they put out great sound and very good base. I put smaller Sony sepakers in the front doors and also added Panasonic (I think) tweeters. Overall, the sound is much improved over the original speakers.

This is my very first review on a purchase. After looking at Crutchfiled's website first, I found these speakers to have what I was looking for. (Price, sound quality & durabilty also, clean & deep tones) Also, without an amp! I own a 2001 Ford Ranger and installed 4 speakers for a better sound than the factory unit by far!!! If you can afford it, do it!!! It is worth every penny. I also installed a Sony head unit (CDXGT620IP). I was able to install the speakers by myself with ease. Make sure that you also purchase Metra (brand name) wire harnesses for your vehicle model/year for installation. If that doesn't match they won't fit. They just click into your old factory wires and new speakers. Amazon Rocks for cheaper online prices!!! I don't regret my purchase one bit. Do your homework first, and buy from Amazon!!!
