these speakers definitely increased the presence and clarity of my system in my 2003 dodge ram 1500 i installed them in the doors and was able to keep all my bass response and add a lot of clarity!

i added these to my stock system they handle pretty good decent bass ,,very good product for the money

Overall I am happy with my speakers. My situation when I bought them and installed them was a little strange, so I ended up paying about 30 too much a retail store (bummer). I wish I had done more homework and possibly purchased them elsewhere, therefore saving me money. However, I am happy with the product, the range and clarity are impressive. Even at full volume they will not distort (but my stock speakers will). I can definitely see myself purchasing more Sony audio gear for my car.

I don't think these would suit a full fledged audiophile, but for an average user looking to upgrade over stock and not break the bank, these will do just fine.

The instructions are really only useful for identifying the positive and negative terminals. If you don't understand what I just said either do some serious homework, or pay to have them installed.

I am impressed with the range and clarity of these speakers. Still using stock radio in my Toyota Camry, but the sound has improved 100% over the original speakers in this car.

I had purchased a Sony CD/AM/FM radio for my car and tried to save some money by purchasing different speakers.
Big mistake. I then checked price and found the correct speakers were only a few dollars more. I ordered these from Amazon and installed them and got a HUGE difference. Much better sound range and the low notes actually come through. Absolutly worth matching the correct speakers. I had called Sony service to find the correct speakers and they were fast,and very helpfull.

These speakers are AWFUL!

I bought them to replace my stock speakers which were blown. I bought these with a new cd deck, and front speakers and had them professionally installed. Lets just say my blown speakers sound better than these. I am embarassed to have them and realllllllly wish my fiance had paid a little more to have some quality. My stereo volume goes up to about 40, but when I hit about 5 (which is not very loud) my back speakers are SOOO fuzzy. They have not got one ounce of bass in them either. ANd this is all while its playing off my ipod. I can't even listen to the radio it sounds so crappy. I am going to put my blown stock speakers back in because they sound better, thats how terrible these sony speakers are.

Save yourself money and just blow your own speakers because that is the same sound you will get with these!!!
