These are good quality speakers and I have had many in the past. I like the decent bass and the highs sound good. They are good quality speakers and I would recommend them to anyone. I have an aftermarket CD player (JVC 180 Watt) and they sound good. I can turn them excessively loud and there is no distortion.

These Sony 6x9 speakers delivery excellent sound from my Sony head unit. The sonic difference from the old Explodes I removed was remarkable. Great value.

This is a great entry level 6x9 that easily accepts modest power and performs very well for the price. Great value speaker for the price. Shipping was very fast with no damage to product or package.

Well worth the money.


I put together the following system in my 1967 Skylark and it gets the job done. For 300 bucks in electronics, I'm extremely happy.

Sony XSGTX6930 6x9's Rear
Boss BASS1200 10" low profile Amp/Sub under the seat.


It isn't going to annoy my neighors by rattling their windows, but it sounds great inside the car.

These speaker sound as good and better then most high dollar speaker that ive heard. Dont see how i could ever buy any other 6x9 again regardless of the system im installing. Im afraid to even heard how much better they will sound once i hook the amp up to them!!! Simply cannot go wrong here...

They may not be as fancy as INFINITY'S or JBL'S but for less than half the price these became very attractive to me, so i finally replace my old xplod speakers witch were boosted by the sun after 5 years. When i first listen i was suprice of the fidelity of the sound im getting from this two to the poit that this are my main speakers and not the INFINITYS capa's that i have in front...
...my only conclusion is that XPLOD products are underrated and that's why they are very cheap!...i will still buy them if they where twice the money.

These speakers will really turn heads, the highs are awesome. Can hear every word crystal clear on the outside of the car with windows up.

I have these units installed in my van, mounted in a custom cabinet. They perform well with a my head unit (Sony CDX GT640UI). I routinely receive compliments on how crisp and firm my audio range feels. I expect these units to perform even better as I add an amp and another set of these 6x9's. The audio quality is mostly going to be decided by your audio source, because these speakers will handle 90% of the serious buyers seeking to upgrade. For the true audiophiles that need that extra bit, they already know their market, but that isn't to say that these have not and will not impress, especially for the cost. -- Note- These are now discontinued for the Sony XSGTX6931

I was able to install these with no drilling or re-working into the stock front openings (replacing the old infinity speaker) in my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are great but you will still want the front dash speakers for highs because there is a factory crossover at the amp that only sends the lower range to the 6X9's in the door.
