TROUBLESHOOTING

1. The device freezes or applications suddenly shut down
i) Any downloaded application might be causing the problem.
ii) Run the device in safe mode
iii) If the device performance improves in safe mode, it’s likely that one or more of the downloaded applications are negatively affecting the device. You can then exit safe mode and restart the device to uninstall the downloaded application

2. Device doesn't turn on or screen doesn't seem to work
i) The battery might be drained. Charge the battery for at least 30 minutes, and then turn on the device
ii) If the device stops responding or won't shut down normally, force the device to shut down and then turn it on again
iii) Reinstall your device software using a computer. NOTE: All data is deleted from the device when you perform a software repair.

3. Issues with WiFi
i) Restart your device and turn off Wi-Fi, then turn Wi-Fi on again
ii) Restart the router. Check that your router is Wi-Fi certified. Non Wi-Fi certified routers may not provide Wi-Fi connectivity
iii) Verify that you are in range of the Wi-Fi router
iv) Remove any protective case from your device to see if the Wi-Fi signal strength improves
v) Use a static IP address. Contact your Internet service provider to ask about the IP address settings
vi) Check that the Wi-Fi sleep policy is set to always have Wi-Fi turned on
vii) Make sure that potentially interfering devices or appliances are not placed close to the Wi-Fi router
