5.0 out of 5 stars A Land of Enchantment
For an inexpensive CD this one is sheer BLISS. When I play it I feel like I have gone to paradise. The sensative instrumentals let me flow into the music of the falls themselves, and when I shut my eyes I could be sprawled out on a sunwashed rock by the water, surrounded by ferns and trees, and maybe a few birds. This is one recording peace seekers shouldn't miss.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a waste!
I've always loved waterfalls and knew I'd enjoy this CD. WRONG!!
The music is prevalent through the entire CD; the waterfall noise in the background is just loud enough to sound like static on a radio!

The music is prevalent through the entire CD; the waterfall noise in the background is just loud enough to sound like static on a radio!
If you can stand to listen to the CD for a few minutes, you'll notice that the music has 2 basic flaws: (1) it sounds like elevator music, and (2) it repeats the exact same pattern the whole time, never altering once! The waterfall rhythm also remains the same, of course,so really, the Cd is made up of the same 2 minute sequence over and over again!
Don't buy it unless you really like staticky elevator music!

I have bought several of this type of CD, liked some, disliked others. This one I disliked.

The music is lacking in variety, is too loud, and composed of many lengthy, flat, notes. Its not grating on the ears or anything, but it is not pleasant either.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good cheap background music, September 23, 2001

I'm a yoga teacher and I'm always looking for ambient music for my classes. It has to be something I can talk over. I purchase a lot of inexpensive cds with titles like, "Morning Sunrise." These types of cds are a hit or miss proposition. This one is a hit. The watery sounds can get people in a flowing, dreamy state. It's one of my favorite cheap cds.
