This review is from: Soprano: Arias By Massenet, Berlioz, Lehar, Etc (Audio CD)
Who knew that Ms. Martinelli had such a beautiful voice? Apparently she was not terribly good looking, and concertized rather than appeared on the operatic stage, but her voice is superb. And the repertoire is quite unusual; from Faure and Franck to Reyer and Debussy, it's a terrific disc.
