Marc Teicholz's interpretation of Fernando Sor's intricate guitar divertimenti is inspirational. His virtuosity, apparent in both the reflective Sonatas, and the complex Fantasie, is the perfect music to complement any mood. At times mellow and contemplative, at others vivacious and motivating - this is the album I listen to, whether to work by, meditate to, or entertain with at brunches and small gatherings. It is music that will set a cool, contented tone, never boring, yet never invasive.
