Highly recommended
I really enjoyed this book. It was the first thing I'd read by this author, and now I'm seeking out some of his other work (nothing else on Amazon?)
The author's talent is in the descriptive writing which really gives you a feel as if you are in the book. The twists and turns aren't obvious, and the friendships between the main characters are believable and...

This is your basic sword & sorcery story. Two friends: One a knight and the other a mage, grow up, learn their skills and go to fight the bad guys. There is nothing new, exciting, or interesting about this story. I don't write that many reviews but I was really excited about this book and the story line summary -it was the kind of fantasy I enjoy reading. Well it is just...

Fantasy fans will enjoy this as much as I did. Recommended.

There is nothing new, exciting, or interesting about this story. I don't write that many reviews but I was really excited about this book and the story line summary -it was the kind of fantasy I enjoy reading. Well it is just 2 dimensional and very short, simple writing. It does not have the pros or the emotions to make it fun, interesting, or exciting. In over 30 years of reading, I think I have only not finished 4-5 books. I got about 1/3 of the way through this book and simply did not care about the characters, the story, or what was going to happen next.
