I live in Finland and wear these shoes daily. They're surprisingly warm in even lower temperatures and are also very comfortable. They're casual enough to wear anywhere, but dressy enough to wear in the office on "dress down" days when the weather is lousy. Very well made. Highly recommended.

Excellent shoe for cold winter days . My feet stayed warm & dry for hours in the snow , highly recommended.

the description line: "Treading through snow and slush without fear of soggy feet" should be removed. The shoes are fine to go through the snow but not even close to waterproof when going through regular city slush. There's not a word on how to impragnate the shoes on the box either...
Another reason I gave only 3 out of 5 stars is the size!!! I am rather skinny and so are my feet and I kind of feel like I could fit one more foot in each shoe. There's a lot of space inside. I mainly prefer sneakers - a shoe that hugs my foot rather then allowing my foot to move independently to the shoe they are in. Which is the case with those. If the producer could make them 1 cm lower (in the front of the foot part) I think this would solve the problem. They look kind of funny and make me feel like I were a part of "where the wild things are" film world when I wear them. Apart from this they are light, warm and comfortable. You get a feeling of walking on a soft carpet. |
