This boot is almost pefect. Sorels are really narrow - so I got a size 6 instead of a size 5. If your feet are at all wide go a size up. They're very comfortable with great support -- however the shaft of the boot is small! I am 4ft 9in with 14in calves and these were tight around my leg. I won't be able to tuck jeans into these boots -- only thin leggings or tights. If you have thin thin stick legs then these'll be fine -- but if you want a boot that you can tuck yr jeans into you might want to reconsider getting these.
also hoped they'd be taller but they are mid-calf.
they are waterproof and very very warm in the snow (I'm in northern indiana)

These boots ROCK. They are warm, easy to walk in, and and keep your feet dry. I like that they are high enough to keep snow out, too. I can not say enough good things about them. They are great.

These boots are just amazing, they fit perfectly - the size chart was accurate. They have just enough room to tuck my jeans in and I have average size calves. The look great and the are soooo warm and toasty. I can't recommend them enough.

Received the boots today. I ordered them early as I take a size 5 and they are hard to find. With reading some of the other reviews, I was afraid they would be too tight around my calves. They fit me perfectly, however I do have petite to average size calves. Highly recommend these boots.

Received these boots and tried them on. They're very comfortable and warm... but they are tight around the calves (I am average height/average weight). I ended up returning them. The only socks I would be able to wear with these would be thin trouser socks.

I loved the feel, look, and comfort of these boots, but they weren't going to be functional for me. Disappointing.

Comfy, daughter tested to be waterproof. They just love it. Planning to get one for me. Looking for my son for a sorel brand. I think its better than UGG less expensive. It seems to have more durable soles.

I live in the mountains at 9000 ft and we get a lot of snow, these boots are warm and keep your feet warm. They are soft on the inside and they fit me alright. I weigh 107 and am 5'3 and do not have enough room to tuck a pair of jeans in or wear a thick pair of socks but they still kept my feet warm with a normal pair of socks. I wish the calf area was bigger and it would be nice (for me) if they were taller, I'm ordering a taller winter boot to wear while we sled and play in the snow with the little one. These are great to wear to town and out and about though, I recommend these shoes!

These are serious winter boots. They keep your fee dry and warm. It would be nice it a zipper was added to make it easier to get them off.

These boots are super warm, comfortable, and stylish. I have gotten several compliments on them. They run true to size however they are narrow at the ankles so hard to get on if you are wearing thick socks... but the are so warm that light socks are fine!

I moved to Washington state after living in Virginia Beach and definitely needed boots because of the large amounts of snow. These boots are awesome! They are warm, waterproof, and worth the money!! I had no problems at all with them and would buy them again if I needed too. They are not as cute as I would like them but when it is 20 degrees and snowing hard warms and comfort is way more important!
