I bought these for the up and coming snowy weather. I tried these on and I am a true 8.5. I read somewhere that these were running small so I ordered a 1/2 size up. I ordered a size 9 and they fit. I wont be able to wear really thick socks but that is ok..... So if you order these order at least a 1/2 size bigger than your normal size. If you want to wear thick socks I suggest a whole size up. I love the look and sprayed them with weather and waterproofing protectant and now I am good to go. I bought both colors. They look pretty good and they dont make my feet look HUGE!

What a beautiful boot. I wear an 8 1/2 W and bought a size 9. I'm always worried about buying shoes online, especially given my wide feet. These boots fit comfortably, like they were custom made. They feel so cozy and warm with an extra-plush lining. They also look sturdy and well built. It's money well spent.

UPDATE: I wore this shoe out into the snow to play with my kids and it held up very well. My feet were warm and dry the entire time. Glad I bought these boots.

I love these boots! Based on a recommendation I ordered a half size bigger and they are fine-will fit heavy socks too. The boots are warm and look great.

I love the boots. I needed something really classy looking and not too bulky because I work in a downtown office environment. However the public transportation commute in our cold weather left me freezing sometimes. This boot keeps my feet really warm and I don't need to wear thick socks. I agree with others regarding ordering 1/2 size biggger.

Now i admit i got these boots for an absolute steal at $20 but i would have paid $50 for them! They are so comfortable, extremely warm and very attractive. I have been asked 4 times so far "Where did you get those boots?". Yes, great deal for these and i would buy them again in a heartbeat!

They arrived within 5 days from my order in a secured box! Very comfortable, warm and roomy. Based on prior reviews, I went a 1/2 size larger as I usually wear an 8.5 and bought a 9. Even with my thickest of wool socks, I still have wiggle room and if I were to do it over again, I would have ordered my true size. I do question whether they will fit appropriately after they are more broken in. Traction is a little questionable as I did slide on the ice. Regardless, they are very comfortable, supportive, durable and kept my feet warm and dry in the snow. For ordering something on-line without the benefit of trying them on, these boots are a definite keeper!

I love this boot!! It has proven to be warm, comfortable, and water-proof as advertised. The fit runs about a half size small. If you are planning to wear heavy socks or two pair of socks with these boots, I would buy a size larger than you normally wear. I have had compliments on the boots overall looks. I wear them as everyday wear. They were reasonably priced too! I have recommended them to all my family and friends....but seriously, Sorrel is one of the top brand names in boots and once again they have proven this out.

came as promised, beautiful boot, but the laces will not stay tied so I will try the no lace version, and I have had to put an insole in the boots to make them more comfortable for my feet.

The boots are really cute. Comfort was okay for awhile. After wearing them for over (5) hours they started to hurt my feet. They were very warm.

I work outdoors in all types of weather, and finding comfortable, waterproof shoes is always a top priority for me. These boots meet my cold-weather needs. My feet were always cold in my other boots, but these are incredibly warm and comfortable.

Because of the high wear my work shoes receive, I usually go through a pair of boots every three months and then it's time for them to be replaced. These boots have lasted 6 months so far, and their condition is not too bad at this point.

I have re-waterproofed them twice so far, but that's typical for all my boots. I recommend the Sorel boots highly!
