Be cautious when ordering that you are actually ordering more than just the mounting pieces, that are sold seperately from the actual product. The images are deceptive.

Beautifully made. Hangs the Stormglass to the wall.

NOTE: be careful about using this to hang the stormglass on the plaque. The plaque will become off balanced to the right, tilt, and then fall off the wall!

I bought this for my father for Christmas. He bought a boat a few years back and loves all things related to weather/nautical. I purchased this with the wood plaque that displays all of the different crystal phases and what they mean for upcoming weather. The construction is quality: it is a weighty brass. We attached it to the wooden plaque and it is really a beautiful piece. One thing I loved about the option of mounting it to the plaque is that he doesn't have to pick a place on the wall and just it there. He can have it at the house or on the boat. The plaque can stand up like a photo frame and looks beautiful on any random table. It can also hang on the wall. Well worth the money.
