This museum catalogue is an absolute must buy for anyone who is concerned with the global environmental crisis. I only wish I could have made it to the actual exhibit that ended in April 2008. Beautifully printed book (printed in Italy) with a treasure trove of historical information regarding the 1970's oil crisis and creative response to the crisis throughout the world. One of the best books I read all year - belongs in everyone's art/history or environmental reading collection.

Excellent book! Well researched into the history of sustainable architecture in the US, from the first solar house in the 40s to the oil crisis in the 70s. Covers all the attempts that were made by architects like Michael Reynolds, David Wright, Malcolm Wells, Andy Davis, and many many others.
