I decided to pick this CD Up after a listening to a few of the songs on iTunes. I liked what I heard despite the terrible critic reviews, and I really liked it.
1. Rock The Beat: N/A
2. Sorry For Party Rocking: 4/5 This is a catchy tune with some genuinely funny parts. It gets repetitive after a while, but its still a good song.
3. Party Rock Anthem: 5/5 If you haven't heard this song a million times by now, you don't listen to music. This song is everywhere, and for a good reason. The lyrics are absolute generic bull crap. But it works and the beat is very catchy.
4. Sexy and I Know It: 5/5 Probably my favorite track on the record. The beginning part is absolutely hilarious "This is how I roll, animal print pants outta control" Haha! Anyways, the little dance beat thing that's in all of their songs is probably the best on the CD (exceptions to the "Wiggle" part)
5. Champagne Showers: 3/5 Probably the low point of the CD, and for one main reason, the chick they decided to feature in it. Its a good song other than that, they just auto-tuned that chick way too much for it to be any good.
6. One Day: 5/5 This is one of those songs that they had "#1 Hit" in mind when they wrote it. It deserves it too, its a catchy song, and very mainstream.
7. Take It To The Hole: 3/5 Ugghh, this beat is terrible, probably right there with Champagne Showers. Not a good song.
8. Best Night: 4/5 This was a good song, I didn't like will.i.am though. Generic overall, not fantastic or anything.
9. All Night Long: 4/5 Another great filler song. Nothing spectacular about it though.
10. With You: 4/5 This probably the weirdest beat I've ever heard. For better or worse.

I'd heard "Party Rock Anthem" and didn't think much of it. Then I saw LMFAO on some late night talk show performing with Quest Crew. I wasn't a fan of Quest Crew on SYTYCD but their wacky style mixed with these guys (who all wore diapers) totally seemed normal to me. I watched them perform "Sexy and I Know It" and thought, "Look at these goofies. I would never buy this music." And then "Sexy and I Know It" played on the radio again and again and again. I never changed the radio station, and slowly but surely my shoulders started rocking.

Then, I started paying attention to other LMFAO songs, and finally they wore me down and now I'm a fan. I don't usually get into party techno music (minus Crystal Waters, who I will worship forever, love her!) but their style is somewhere between feel-good hip-hop (they're clearly rapping, just not talking about much) and pop music. Almost every song on here will rock a party crowd and when I watched the first episode of "Master of the Mix," I kept thinking, "These songs must be deejays' secret weapon to get people on the floor." I bought their CD today, took it to the gym and I went HARD for an hour on every cardio machine. I got to the point where I was so busy dance-exercising that I lost track of time. Now that's when a CD is good.

When I don't even bother skipping to the next song and can focus on the workout, that's a winner to me. Too many CDs nowadays have songs I want to constantly click the next button to. While the lyrics aren't anything impressive, it's of the pop genre so I don't expect it to be. I do like that they're out the box (and I'm slightly tickled that one of them is the son of Berry Gordy and clearly not trying to follow that old school R&B era I would've guessed). I am not at all surprised that will.i.am is the Executive Producer for this CD. It has a Black Eyed Peas feel to it just 25 times more odd. Anyway, I highly recommend this.

LMFAO is definitely on to something really fun. After listening to their hit single and really awesome music video for Party Rock Anthem (recommend everyone check it out on youtube) and their other really fun music videos I decided to buy the CD. Unfortunately aside from their really good singles there is only a couple of other songs on the CD that are up to the same quality level. None of the bonus songs on this special edition are particularly good either.

Still a great band, and I don't regret buying the CD. I just wish the other songs were less interchangeable. I look forward to their future music.

Can LMFAO really be serious? Probably not, but the group's sophomore effort Sorry for Party Rocking surprisingly works, despite its ludicrous conception. Sure, it won't be recounted as as the classic album of 2011, but in a market that is so fixed on the `latest trend,' Sorry for Party Rocking's infectious, stupid, club-savvy nature works in its favor. After all, if the Black Eyed Peas and 3OH!3 can thrive off of the `stupid,' why can't LMFAO. Honestly, Sorry for Party Rocking trumps the latest efforts by both groups. And face it, with "Mr. Corny" himself will.i.am at the helm as executive producer, wouldn't one expect one of the `stupidest' efforts ever? While some may splurge for the deluxe edition, Sorry for Party Rocking's standard edition is enough for the casual listener, despite it's brief 37 minute duration.

"Rock The Beat II" opens the effort, `intro' style, with captivating production work that comprises of a dizzying array of synths and electronics. The group raps a bit, setting the tone of the album. The title track follows ("Sorry for Party Rocking") with great success. The production is solid and the `party vibe' of the album is overtly conveyed. The chorus is great - well catchy and silly which makes it viable for this effort: "People always say my music's loud/sorry for party rocking..." The #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Party Rock Anthem" proceeds, featuring performances by Lauren Bennett and Goonrock. The production is solid, the hook is catchy (despite immaturity), and the cut itself ends up being a `guilty pleasure.' The best line? "Everyday I'm shuffling."

"Sexy And I Know It" is a silly as anything else, but that's the point. The hook is stupid, but addictive: "When I walk in the spot, this is what I see/everybody stops and they staring at me...I'm sexy and I know it." Other notable lines: "We hit it to the bar, baby don't be nervous/now shows, no shirt, and I still get serviced..." "Champagne Showers" is better, featuring Natalia Kills on vocals. The driving dance groove continues once more truly epitomizing the classic line "the beat goes on." Kills's vocals are laden with processing, but then what else do you expect on a dance record? The production is stand-out, the hook as stupid as anything else, and you find yourself singing the cut to yourself despite the fact `you should know better.' "One Day" is a bit less enthralling from the onset, but settles into another enjoyable cut led by it's easily dismissible hook: "Money in the bank, my car brand new/I got everything I want, but you..." Geez, these boys are corny!

"Take It To The Hole" is ridiculous, but brilliant. The production is handled by Rami Afuni (most of the other cuts are handled by LFMAO) which smartly differentiates the sound a bit. The hook is as stupid as all others - possibly even more so: "Take it to the hole, take, take it to the hole...I beat it up..." Redfoo is good for some one-liners: "I take it to the hole, its Redfoo I'm aggressive/Four moves ahead, wrong dude to play chess with/I roll with the best click flow so impressive..." Busta Rhymes `puts a cap on it' with a superb guest rap here. "Best Night" works, but at five minutes in duration, makes the listener a bit weary, will.i.am feature or not. "All Night Long" reinstates any lost energy with sound production and yet another addictive hook. Closing cut "With You" is not the best of the album, but ends the album solidly enough with captivating production being a highlight.

Overall, Sorry for Party Rocking is one of those efforts that you take for what it is - an utterly ridiculous pop album that is meant to be a `guilty pleasure.' This is not an album that will win or even hope to be nominated for `Album of the Year,' but for `what it is,' it works. After all, after you listen to it, you can say you're "sorry for party rocking."

I usually don't buy a whole CD, glad I did. The beat from these guys is energetic, and helps me with my long runs. I definitely recommend this.

I expected to hate this album. I heard about this group and thought they were fake rappers using autotune. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the album. It is a fun album! They are not pretending to be great mcs, but are simply ushering in their "Party Rock" movement. I'm in. Electronic beats and fun lyrics. They do not take themselves too seriously and I like that. There is room for them in music.

Everyone has heard Party Rock Anthem, but there are other cool songs on this. I love Champagne Showers and Reminds Me of You especially. Even Hot Dog is a funny song everyone can relate to after a night of clubbing.

All in all, I like that they are carving out their niche and just putting out fun music. I even bought their first album and liked it even more. Long live Party Rock.

a product of nepotism and reading "The Manual", I think so. Pretty mindless and dumb record that is "fun". LMFAO call their music "party rock". I call it stupid. I admit to having no sense of humor. However, I have read "The Manual". Thus I understand where LMFAO are coming from. If you don't know what "The Manual" is, how about a brief description:

The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way) is a 1988 book by The Timelords (Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty), better known as The KLF. It is a tongue-in-cheek step by step guide to achieving a No.1 single with no money or musical skills, and a case study of the duo's UK novelty pop No. 1 "Doctorin' the Tardis"

Stupid hooks: Check. Catchy chorus: Check. Devoid of any musical skills: Check

Music is upbeat and fun. I received CD in perfect condition. I recommend CD to anyone who wants to listen to fast paced party music.

...than listen to this crap (and I hate Kia's)! Hey, if you've heard "Party Rock Anthem" on the Kia ad, just buy the single and don't waste your money on this awful assemblage of filler from a one-hit wonder. Life is way too short to bother listening to LMFAO - which is what they're probably doing (Laughing Their A$$e$ Off) to the fools who spend money on this!

This album is full of great (and some just good) dance music. Fun, high energy stuff, that will get you dancing in no time.
