About the Author

Stephen King is the author of more than fifty books, all of them worldwide bestsellers. Among his most recent are Full Dark No Stars, Blockade Billy, Under the Dome, Just After Sunset, the Dark Tower novels, Cell, From a Buick 8, Everything's Eventual, Hearts in Atlantis, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Lisey's Story and Bag of Bones. Like with all audiobooks, your personal enjoyment comes down to 2 things: the reader and the reader. If the person "reading" the book has the appeal of a root canal, I don't care if Stephen King wrote it or a 5 year old, the audio version won't appeal to me either. They have done a great job picking these readers. All of them, especially Joe Mantegna, have the ability to take you there, in the middle of the action. Stephen King will always be awesome, but to hear his work read by people who have talent takes it to the next level.

I listened to this book on CD while on a long flight. It really held my interest. I can't think of one story that I didn't like. I enjoyed the professional touch using actors.
