5.0 out of 5 stars Five stars for 'Sweet Thing', September 10, 2003
This review is from: Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word 2 (Audio CD)
Don't get me wrong, I love "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word", but Elton John annoys me. I know it was his song first, but couldn't Blue have just sung the song without him? He takes over the song. But anyway, onto my review of the single.

1. Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
Great song, but Elton John ruins it. He sings nearly the entire song with Lee. My favourite member, Duncan sings like 4 lines in the whole song! But I have to admit, all 4 guys show off their singing talents, and I love the piano. An overall good song, but could do without Elton. 4/5
2. Album Medley
This is a mix of the ballads from the "One Love" album. The songs are "U Make Me Wanna" (5/5 - great song, the third single to be released), "Don't Treat Me Like A Fool" (5/5 - great cover of the Angie Stone classic), "Get Down" (5+/5 - my favourite song from the album, Duncan wrote it) and "Like A Friend" (5/5 - cute song that Antony wrote). The songs are mixed together very well, and it sounds great. 5/5
3. Sweet Thing
Ok, this single is worth buying just for this track. IT ROCKS! Blue's b-sides are almost as good as their albums tracks. This song gives all the guys a chance to sing, and the chorus is super catchy. The music is really cool, and I love the lyrics (especially in Duncan's verse - "never seen a girl that tight" - er thanks Dunk!). This has become one of my favourite Blue songs (along with Back Someday, Love RIP (that was on the Fly By single), U Make Me Wanna and Get Down) of all time. This song is so much more then a b-side on a single. It's a brilliant song in it's own right. 5,000,000/5
4. Enhanced Video
This is the "SSTBTHW" video. It features the Blue boys and Elton on a dark background, with Elton at the piano, singing the song. It's very classy, and the boys look good in suits. But I do think the dancers should have been left out, they don't really go with the look of the video. 5/5

On my single, there is a sensational remix of "SSTHBW" which I like better then the original. It's more funkier and upbeat.

Overall, a great single that is worth the money for "Sweet Thing" and the video. Buy it now if you like Elton John, Blue, ballads or a great pop song!
