5.0 out of 5 stars Concepts Simplified!
This is a wonderful book to use to teach the concept of sorting (why objects are grouped together in a particular way). I've used this book with my second grade class and they really loved the simple, colorful photographs depicting everyday objects. My two and a half year old daughter also enjoys the simple, no-nonsense text used to explain this somtimes difficult...

3.0 out of 5 stars Colorful pictures, but.....
Lots of colorful pictures, but difficult to explain sorting because you can't move the objects around on the pages. It would be easier if you had actual objects to sort. So, I would recommend using actual objects instead of this book.

This book is a small teaching book about sorting in different ways. A child reading it by his/herself would need some direction as they are reading. Good for homeschool moms teaching their kids about sorting and for teachers in the classroom. It is a short book but covers sorting with colorful pictures.
