Not the best metal band in the world, but they do deserve a lot more credit than they have been given. I love this band and they have a great style. Listening to this cd makes me want to go to Finland for the wintertime. Buy this cd, you won't be disappointed.

There are a lot of bands out there named Ransom. This one, from California (not Finland - sorry "Snow Soul") & fronted by Lisa Faxon, a soulful feminine powerhouse, produced a great album that has rocked me to this day. As posted on White Throne Reviews, they have a sound: "not unlike Heart, Stryper or Lita Ford." The background vocals are reminiscent of Def Leppard's distinct style (which was a huge selling-point for me when I first bought this on audio tape). I still have that tape and enjoy listening to it in the car. I'm buying it again, today, in MP3 format. Yes... it's THAT good! You won't hear any preaching from them, but these people make no bones about where their inspiration comes from. I love it! Thank you, Ransom!
