I need to express how much this book meant to me. I came across it on the street as a used copy being sold by a street vendor who buys/sells used books. Little did I know that this book that looked so beat up, by the time I purchased it, held an amazing perspective on overcoming life challenges. Sadly, I read this book after this amazing author passed and I kept wondering why I couldn't find much about her on the internet until I came across her obituary today 3 years after the fact. I read her book some time earlier this year, in 2010 or maybe in 2009, and it helped me as I overcame my own difficulties and stresses. Shellie literally came to life on each page for me, she simply glowed her way into my heart. She was truly a talented individual who's work must be shared as stated by these 3 reviews.

I am privileged to have met her through the publishing of her bold, inspirational story. May she continue to inspire others through the gifting forward of her work.

To her family, should they see this, may God continue to bless you and keep you. Ms. Anderson-Tazi was a truly accomplished woman who has undoubtedly left a mark in all of our hearts, minds, and souls for the better.

Shellie lived the life she sang about. You owe it to yourself to read her story and share it with others.

In this work the author, Shellie Anderson-Tazi opens her heart and shares with her readers the tragedies that life has dealt to her.
Losing her baby, being diagnosed with breast cancer, and her husband walking out on her brought Shellie to a point in her life that she either gave in and accepted death and defeat, or fought back and battled for life.
She chose the latter.

In this work, the author shares 8 steps she used in turning her situations around. She shares her experiences, her emotions, her victories and her defeats, tucking it all neatly together with a gentle dash of faith. In an honest and clear way, she opens her heart and walks you through putting these steps into practice in your own life.
All in all a good self-help read. I think you will like this one.
