For All Ages,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Soul Bird (Hardcover)
This book was a real "Find" at a booksale. I intend to buy several as presents for my "grown-up" friends. Wonderful for sensitive children, it speaks to all of us who wonder why when we want to do or say the right thing we end up missing the mark. I'm giving one to my therapist as well, so she can tell me how to court this mischeivous bird.

Insightful, gentle expression of our relationship to soul,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Soul Bird (Hardcover)
This beautiful, simple poetry expresses our relationship to soul. The illustrations and poetry demonstrate feelings that both children and adults will recognize in themselves. It is a wonderful way to show children ( and the child within each of us ) how to understand and accept themselves and all their feelings and behaviors as part of who they are; and how to "open the drawers" to joy. What a special gift to share with a child and those we hold dear.

This was the first book I ever read in Hebrew. As my friend set next to me and translated it, I was amazed at how true the authors words were. It is a children book for adults!

The soulbird touched my soul,

When I was in Israel a few years ago, I received this book in Hebrew from a very good friend of mine, Dorit. I cried as she translated the words of the book for me. Then, I went back to Israel two years ago, and I saw the book in English. I have been giving this book as a present to all my friends, no matter what age they are. I am ordering this for a new baby girl. I love the book for my own personal life, and for the ones I love. But I also use the book in my practice since I am a psychologist. There are so many lessons one learns from the book. The Soulbird became one of my favorite books of all times, just like the Little Prince by Exupery, and Friedman's Fables by Rabbie Friedman. Thank you, Mikhal Senunit, for you sensitivity, and Thank you, Naamah for your beautiful illustrations.

Read it in 10 minutes, but remember it for a life time.,

I read the book in a Hong Kong bookstore, there standing and reading over it. With about 25 books on my belonging i almost decided not to buy it, but I DID BUY it in the end. I LOVE THIS BOOK. I read it for my daughters and both love this. It is AMAZING so few words written about a soul bird can affect us. The appeal of Harry Potter in one hundredth words less.Go and buy this. no matter how old or young you are. And reading this is no pain at all, done in 10 minutes, but reread it again and again and you will still love it. the magic of the soul bird, a magic of its own.

Magic from the heart in few words!,

Sometimes less is more. This book was given to me as a gift. I was truly struggling with my own heart and soul, this clever little book spoke to me. Although this book is listed for children it is quite appropriate for all ages. The simplicity yet deep soul searching thoughts are matched with fun bird like sketches. Cute and clever and easily enjoyed. Nicely sized for a little pick me up gift book!

Chicken Soup for the Soulless,
By A Customer

You are kidding me, right! This schmarmy, simplistic (and very short ...) book that reads like Jonathan Livingston Seagull Jr. is just ripe for ridicule. This book definitely made me open my "angry drawer" because I was duped into reading it. If this book changes your life, you may want to seriously think about getting one.
