Soul Calibur III: Ivy PVC Figure 1/6 Scale

I'm a big fan of the Soul series, especially Isabella Valentine. Although the price is a bit expensive, I took the chance of buying this PVC statue even though it had no reviews whatsoever. Hence, for those out there that may be interested...The results?

On the good side:
1) The statue is huge (300 mm or about a foot long), so it would probably be one of the biggest item on top of your desk;
2) The paint and details are spot on, great colors and textures following Ivy's Soul Calibur III primary costume. For example, the armor on her left arm is a quite precise replica with six golden pieces not accounting those of her fingers.
3) While not an action figure, the crucial part is Ivy's sword. You can use it on its simple form (coiled) or you can use it extended, which completely changes the "charm" of the statue as it revolves around Ivy (as seen in the picture);
4) There are not many good Ivy's figures out there...such as this one.

The not so good:
1) The base...I don't know who designed this, but the gravity center is a bit on the front side...hence, the figure tends to fall forward somewhat. You may need to add some kind of added support to avoid this. One way: try leveling the figure when you stick the holes of her shoe in the base with some glue or add a bit of paper to throw back the gravity center. Furthermore, it does not match the one shown in the figure, which seems more thicker. The one it comes is gray and round.

Overall...If you like Ivy and you have the money: go for it!
