this is the first of the soul calibur games that i own...i only got this version because you can play as DARTH VADER..How cool is that ! the graphics/enviroments are stunning to say the least and shine on the ps3..the gameplay is fast and intense.. sure the storyline might be weak but this is a fighting game..so ill let that slide...i know some people that have the xbox360 version with yoda..which is great and all but for some reason the ps3 version is a bit superior.. sure people might gripe because you can kick everybodys butt as vader..sure its true but there are moves you can master as well ..also there is another little surprise you can also unlock vader's secret apprentice from the force unleashed games also.. nice bonus.. but going up against him in arcade mode is a pain.. soul calibur 4 is a great addition to your ps3 library..i found this on sale for 10 bucks brand new..not a bad deal..

Is a good game to play, it is similar to the soul calibur 2 game i owned. A lot of the old characters still have the same moves with a couple of new ones. If you like this kind of fighting style then this game if for you. Don't buy this if u are into mortal kombat, marvel vs capcom kind of fighting. This is a little more confusing on the move list and not a lot of chain combos.
