There are so many relationship books available and so many focus on the 'other' person. Gail and Basha have done us all a huge favor. They've introduced totally new concepts to finding lasting love...it starts from within. You can't find a soul mate if you're own soul is lost and with the 'self-work' they do, you will find your soul or spirit. If I had to pick the BEST concept in this book, it would be the one which talks about discovering your "Non-Negotiables" What an amazing break through. You date some one who does or behaves in such a way you disagree, but you accept it thinking "he'll change" years later, a few kids, he still does those things. Is it his fault "NO"! It's yours for compromising on your non-negotiable. Read this book cover to cover, write notes and do what they say, your life and the way you approach relationships will change for the better and there is no turning back. Bravo Gail and Basha. Excellent!

Bravo to Basha and Gail. This book has really changed my perspective in looking for the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. My recent dating experiences, I now realize, have been superficial at best, looking for the outer qualities rather than the inner beauty I really need to fulfill my needs and desires. Beauty is really only skin deep and the inner qualities of my dates needs to be judged as far more important. The Wisdoms have given me a much better look at myself. I was especially moved by the forgiveness piece Basha wrote concerning her dad. It was truly memorable. I recommend this book to all men who truly seek a spiritual connection. I dream about the kind of relationship that Basha and Jeff have as described in the last chapter of the book. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Soul Dating to Soul Mating is a wonderful book. As a male in the dating world, I have found that we are continually criticized for being shallow and only wanting sex. The spiritual part of this book, the first part, should dispel all that nonsense and I hope that many women read it so they will be able to see that a man can be soulful and caring. I saw Basha and Jeff speak in Aventura in North Miami Beach and they truly provided inspiration that there is indeed a soul partner out there for me. I now am beginning to ask "who" questions to my date instead of the "what" that is usually the general babble of initial dating. I really feel that if every single reads this book and hears Basha and Jeff speak, then dating in this country will become much better and I believe that marriages will become stronger.

Two weeks ago, I read this book and then today was lucky enough to hear one of the authors speak at a bookstore. Packed with lots of practical information that applies to singles and couples, but the best part is the down to earth advice about looking at relationships in a new way. For instance, I learned that all those times I was so deeply hurt by betrayal, if I had read this book and learned to ask the right questions up front, I would not have entered the relationship, or at least seen the warning signs, in the first place. Do yourself a kind favor and read it. It will be money well spent.

Much more than a book on dating, this book opens the door to the self, which then provides a lens to see the "right" soul mate. But there are also many "down to earth" sections, for example, one on interviewing, with detailed questions to ask a potential soul mate. At the same time practical and profound, this is the best book by far I have read on the subject.

Soul Dating to Soul Mating is totally unique. It touches the heart and spirit and shows you how to prepare yourself for a soulmate relationship and the potential for a spiritual partnership. The Seven Spiritual Wisdoms are totally inspirational as I try to prepare myself for the relationship that I know is possible. When I do my spiritual work, following these tenets, I am sure that my soulful partner will appear. I was most moved by Basha and Jeff's story. It's magical, to say the least. I suspect that a movie will be made based on it. It has given me faith that I will find my spiritual partner or soulmate. The soulwork steps are very inspirational, especially the one where Basha learns to forgive her father. I was moved to tears while reading it. The dating steps are ingenious and will help any reader find a partner who supports who she is. I really want to commend the authors for creating a real and soulful work and I plan on recommending it to all my single friends.

This book touched me in many ways - my mind, my brain, my heart and my soul. It provides a unique and innovative way of looking at relationships and discovering what type of relationship you desire. The exercises and lists will help you discover yourself and the specific qualities of a significant other that most matter to you. It is not just another "how-to" book but one that will touch your heart and soul as it has mine.

This is a wonderfully written book outlining a self-discovery process that will definitely enhance your life, present and future. It deals with the individual person and the changes you can make in your life for your life. It helps you to dive into your inner-self and make some beautiful discoveries about the you that you have always wanted to be.

originally saw gail on TV, bought the book and have followed with attendance at a recent workshop. in combination a real eye opener and pathfinder for assessing, who and what is to be important! busy professional schedule with travel mixed in limits many local quality opportunities, a great guide to getting one's own act into focus. it is a relationship builder!

A wonderful guidebook to finding yourself, deciding what you would like/need in a partner, finding that person, and deciding if he/she is the one.
