We are spiritual beings on a physical journey in this adventure called life. This journey is filled with choices- how to make a living, to marry, having children, and on and on. To large extent our lives are defined by the choices we make. But sometimes our whole being is defined by a choice we make, such as whether we will serve God or evil. Soul Deceiver is the story of several people in this crucible of choice when there is an attempt to create a new "Perfect" religeon combining Christianity and Islam. Deception is most effective when we are an accomplice to the deceiver, feeding the deception with our hopes and dreams. Sometimes the price of deception is very high, as in your life, or even your mortal soul.
Leahz draws her characters carefully, drawing me in to the point that I could imagine them being real people that I began to care about. The evil Khalid is grotesque in his evil, yet paradoxically appealing physically and even charismatic personally. It must be very difficult to resist him. And that is the real crux of the story, how evil disguises itself so easily that even folks with good intentions find themselves deceived.
Leahz paints a portrait where many are deceived, and the way to discern is by donning the armor of being well read Biblically, strong in your daily walk with our Lord and not being one with the "Crowd" mentality.
I found myself having completed this book within 36 hours of receiving it, it was a compelling read. I look forward to the next part of the trilogy. In my soul I feel we are near the end times and this story is as relevant as the headlines which grow more alarming daily. Entertaining, spiritually illuminating, and Biblically strong this is a top notch thriller that manages to educate and entertain at the same time.

This book is one of the best fiction thrillers I have ever read! I highly recommend it, not only to you, but to many of my friends and family members also!

This is not a thriller that bogs you down with boring tiny details and unneeded information, NO! Rather quite the contrary, it draws you in with its outstanding details as you read its masterfully minded words!

I consider "Soul Deceiver" to be a possible real scenario of the end days spoken of in Biblical prophecy. This novel will have you on the edge of your seat, wanting more!!

By the time I read the first page I was hooked. I couldn't put the book down! It is one of the most interesting novels I have ever read. I highly recommend that you read it too! You wont be disappointed!

Soul Deceiver is a gripping must read! The author has assembled a cast of characters so that every scene leaves the reader identifying with them with, so much so, one can't help being absorbed into the storyline.

Putting this book down is difficult, if not impossible! The undercurrent truth that runs with this fictional work was riveting as I wondered if the author had nailed a very possible future scenario for end times. Mystery, murder, true faith, and the possible formation of a one world religion flow from these pages, compelling the reader to take serious consideration of their own standing with God.

If you are captivated by writers like Rosenthal and LaHaye, then this is a must read. We are looking forward with great anticipation to the next in this series! This is a powerful and fascinating book Ms Leahz has given her readers for enjoyment by all means, but its ever-present focus is clear... Jesus and His Kingdom.

Soul Deceiver is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. It's the kind of book that, once you start reading it, you just can't put it down. The characters come to life, and I feel as if I know them. The story is both suspenseful and exciting. I found myself immersed in the story, feeling like this could actually be happening now!

I can't wait for Lyn's second novel to come out. I love the story and all of the characters.

For anyone interested in end time prophecy, the rapture or current world events, this book is a must read!

Get in on the ground level of this new and exciting mystery writer! Lyn Leahz has established her credentials as a topnotch novelist with her book, Soul Deceiver. You will be mystified and captivated while reading this book of imaginable end time events. Lyn has a solid background of international news and religiosity and has a natural gift of writing, especially in this particular vernacular.

Lyn's second novel will soon be forthcoming and I look forward to her future literary efforts. Anyone interested in prophecy, end time events or strictly Biblical facts will find this book, Soul Deceiver, one superbly written narrative.

Enjoy!

I typically love end times fiction. The poor editing really detracted from the book. There were quite a few misspellings (eg. consistent use of "passed" instead of "past") and some misuse of words ("lost his scruples" probably should have been "lost his marbles" in the context that I presume was intended). The conversations between the characters was also a little tedious for me. I did finish the book and may consider reading the next installment but hope the author uses a different editor.
