Jimmy does the oldies on here great justice! The Cd from the beginning to end is outstanding. It has a natural feel to it, and sounds Jimmy is having fun at the same time. Pick it up you won't be dis-appointed!

This album is one of the best efforts by any male singer black or white or pink or yellow or any colour , to come along ever. Barnsay just turned 50 and celebrated it here in Thailand his wife's home country. I can't wait to get my copy of Soul Deeper his follow up to SOUL DEEP.Even if your not a soul music genre lover give this album a listen,try his other stuff too,the guy is one fine singer from the Land Down Under where he has Legend status, and more then deserves it !!!!!

This is one of those rare albums in which a relatively unknown artist covers a set of great hits from the past, and puts a wonderful interpretation on them without upsetting the listener's knowledge of what's coming next. This CD rocks from beginning to end.
