I listened to these guys when they came to play in my hometown and was really impressed by their professionalism. I was 16 years old. Now I'm impressed with all the songs I didn't hear them play, but wish I had. Look up psychedelic in the dictionary..Soul, Inc's picture should be there!

An excellent retrospective on this '60's Louisville band. The band's moniker might throw you for a loop, but the group was adept at not only soul, but also blues, rock, and a bit of garage. Volume 2 is promised by the end of the year and, if it is as strong as this volume, will be well worth seeking out.

Soul Inc. from Louisville, Ky is a band that has spanned the generations.I think you will find most of the tunes as valid today as in 1968. If you love rock and Roll this is for you.Eleven pages of liner notes detail the history of the group and I understand vol 2 is set for release on October 1 st....These are rock and roll gems with driving guitars, vocals and thunder for drums.....I recommend highly.
