If you'd like some help in "getting out of your own way" and progressing along your soul lessons, author and intuitive Sonia Choquette has created a fantastic oracle deck for receiving insight and clarity about your life purpose.

The Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose Oracle Cards is an excellent tool for recognizing soul lessons, reclaiming the hidden jewels from past hurts, pruning deadwood from the present, and creating a future filled with authenticity, hope, and grace.

Each numbered card is beautifully illustrated with pastel backgrounds (mostly yellows and greens), and features a key word or phrase reflecting the theme of the card. Some of the themes in this 63-card deck include:

In the 95-page companion booklet, Choquette provides general advice for each of the cards, including incisive questions for discerning how it applies to your life. Then, she elaborates on the card's meaning in terms of both present-time soul purpose and your soul's lesson. The companion booklet shows a mini-picture of each card along with the description and number correspondence, making it very easy to look up the appropriate card/s that you have selected.

There are only two brief spreads showed in the companion book, with the bulk of the text dedicated to the card meanings.

I've used the Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose Oracle Cards several times and found them to penetratingly insightful. The first time I did a one-card reading, I felt that the card I drew wasn't appropriate to the question I was asking. It just didn't seem to relate at all!

However, a few hours later, I re-read Choquette's questions and advice about that particular card and realized that, while it didn't address the situation in any obvious or direct manner, I was indeed experiencing that situation in the periphery. When I opened to its message, expanding my heart and understanding, I found the other situation cleared up almost instantaneously!

At another time, I did another one-card reading about a particular situation that was existential and abstract, yet weighed on my heart. I drew a card and received such an amazingly insightful answer that the message moved me to tears; I felt such a strong, loving Presence in my midst.

Now, I draw a card several times a week, and this deck never fails to confirm Guidance with clear, sharp insight.

The Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose Oracle Cards is now my favorite oracle by Choquette. Up until now, her Trust Your Vibes deck was my favorite. This oracle effectively pierces illusion, so it's not a mere fluffy, feel-good deck. However, Choquette's authoritative wisdom is full of compassion, gentleness, and encouragement-and she invites you to extend the same to *yourself*, as well as others. If you'd like to peel off layers of ego, become more conscious, and receive solid guidance for the next step of your spiritual journey, Soul Lessons and Soul Purpose deck is an excellent tool for showing the way.

I have many decks and I own all of Sonia's decks. This at the moment is my favourite. The main reason I like this deck is that it is a daily reminder to keep in touch with Spirit. In a very material, quick moving, "glossy finished" world, I love to have these daily reminders that I am actually learning everyday and I am hear for a Spiritual purpose. Yesterday's card was 36 - Have Faith, and boy did I appreciate that reminder. My day was incredibly testing, but I kept in my mind the mantra of "Have Faith" and found that everything was not as dire as it seemed. This is a great tool for the practitioner or Spiritual seeker who wants daily interaction with their higher self! If you buy this deck, do yourself a huge favour and USE IT, wear the edges out! It is the best of Sonia's decks. The images are brighter and the messages are lighter.

I just pulled the card "Choose your friends wisely". If you consider having a card deck as a "friendly advisor" this one will be true to your best interests.

I have several decks of oracles cards, and this one is really impressive. It is for good reason that Sonia calls these her "big guns" -I am continually amazed how the cards I choose reflect the heart of what ever is happening for me at the time.

As with all oracles, you need to resonate with the cards (or what ever format the oracle takes) for them to be personally meaningful. As with Sonia's other work, I found a quick resonance and find that the cards have been manifested from a Divinely high source. I would also recommend Osho's Zen tarot cards. xx

After reading so many good reviews I did decide to get this deck myself. The Law of Attraction will always hand you a card that is most helpful for you at the current moment. I do have to say the reason I rated this so low was the explainations in the book. They are sometimes very harsh and not very friendly. Almost like "get over yourself" kind of attitude. I'm used to decks that are more friendly with their wording not blame and guilt. I don't use this deck as often because of that.

I ordered 3 decks by Sonia Choquette. They're ALL 3 really lovely, beautifully executed - and together with her books, I find them so encouraging that I have decided to go for a bit of self-study.
Down to earth, practical, easy to read, yet very insightful !! I hope Sonia writes more for me to harvest in the coming years!! many thanks Sonia and many thanks amazon for having all her stuff there to find, and to read. It's great when you can peep inside the books, it makes for MUCH better sales I would think, so I'm definitely FOR a lot more authors and publishers being willing to share a few pages, helps make a choice easier.
In my case, I just went and bought more as they arrived ! :-)

I have numerous sets of cards of one kind or another, and this one has a way of helping when you get into those "why" sorts of zones which I do often. Some of them sit on the shelf mosty but these I use often, as they are very helpful and insightful.

This is what I needed to help clarify some things in my life. You must believe in her philosophy of being able to talk to your guides. I truely believe that they are with us and we must get to a higher plane to communicate with them. The cards are a place to start.

I like these cards a lot. They are very simple to use if you are a beginner at using divination tools. I have had very accuate results for others and me.
