What a tremendous loss to the Gospel community. This CD is simply wonderful. Every song allows listener to hear how much Rev. Vails loved the Lord! Rest in Peace until we all meet in Heaven for another recording session!!!!

Traditionally made to make you 'sho nuff' shout., February 5, 1999

I wonder now that many of the traditional artists of the Gospel world are gone, what will happen to the traditional 'sho nuff' make you wanna shout music. This CD follows in the tradition of his music. Donald Vails' music continues to praise God, lift up the name of Jesus and puts you in the mind set of praise and much thanksgiving. This one is a keeper, you may put it down to listen to the new stuff, but you have to keep going back!!

From the first cut to the last this work is truly wonderful. The best of both worlds, contemporary and traditional gospel. Taken from us far too soon, Rev. Vails was a class act, teacher, composer and friend. He will truly be missed. His ability to change octives and that one of a kind growl, and the feeling he put into this recording cannot be matched. Whether you want the angelic sounds or that foot stomping down home feeling this is the CD to have. This is a must for your gospel collection.
