R&B is alive and well in France., November 16, 2006

I haven't been this excited over an R&B album since the early 90s. I never realized that there was r&B in France but Gage has made this very clear! Soul Rebel has something on it for everyone from the painfully beautiful "Je T'Aime Quand Meme" to the all out dance jams like "Trop Fresh", "Ce Soir" and N'Arette Pas. I do not understand French nor do I need to . Music is the universal language, especially with this album. Thank god for imports!

It caught my attention, July 23, 2007

I was truly moved by the sweetness of his voice. With very little back up-no violins, horns nor electric piano- the thrill of Gage's pure soul was enticing. I saw him perform on French television (TV5), and I made it a point to write down the name so I could search for his music. I understand French and I am eager to get the album and sing along!
