The real thing, March 20, 2000

This is a wonderful album. A selection of his best from the late 80's and early 90's. My only qualm is the shortness of the CD.; Just ten songs but the songwriting and singing are as good as country gets. Crowell's voice reminds me of the Everly Brothers or Roy Orbison. Without the sometimes affected drawl of more popular singers.
