Editorial Reviews

Review

"This book delivers exactly what its predecessor promised: the ability to bewitch the reader and to turn your expectations upside down." - Mihir Wanchoo, Fantasy Book Critic

Praise for Kell's Legend, Book 1 of the Clockwork Vampire Chronicles:

"Kell's Legend' is a roller coaster ride of a book that grabbed me right from the first page and tore off at a rate of knots like I hadn't seen in a long time." - Graeme's Fantasy Book Review

"Kell's Legend is an iconoclastic melange of themes that incorporates devices from various genres-Moorcook/Gemmell heroic fantasy, steampunk, and horror. It is an exciting, brutal novel, soaked in testosterone and paced like a roller coaster. The sex and violence is visceral and the action is non-stop." - Red Rook Review

Praise for Andy Remic's Previous Works:

“...blood-spattered ultraviolence” - SFX Magazine (November 2007)

“War Machine is like the collected hardware spank banks of Chris Foss, Neal Asher and Jeremy Clarkson all mashed into one” - Death Ray magazine (January 2008)

“Biohell can stake a claim as the finest viral nightmare since 28 Days Later” - Calum Waddell, SFX Magazine (January 2009)

“His staccato prose is punchy and he delivers in the action stakes” - Alasdair Morton, SciFi Now Magazine (January 2009)

About the Author

Andy Remic is a British writer with a love of ancient warfare, mountain climbing and sword fighting. Once a member of the Army of Iron, he has since retired from a savage world of blood-oil magick and gnashing vachines, and works as an underworld smuggler of rare dog-gems in the seedy districts of Falanor. In his spare time, he writes out his fantastical adventures.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost like reading a new Gemmel book...., November 1, 2010

This author writes in the same story type as David Gemmel did. If you like heroic fantasy this is a series for you. Older feared ax-man trying to do good, still strong and deadly... sounds a lot like Druss from the Gemmel series, the hero of the book is called Kell. Pretty sure you can figure out where this author got a LOT of his ideas from. Good book though with some original twists, it is like he combined elements from Legend, Morning Star, and Knights of the Galbala from David Gemmel into one series....

This review is from: Soul Stealers: The Clockwork Vampire Chronicles, Book 2 (Mass Market Paperback)
Awesome series of books. Reads like david gemmell and full of nonstop action. A new spin on the classic vampire archetypes. Remic mixes large scale army battles with epic one man against the world struggles. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book!, February 23, 2011
First there was Conan and then came Druss now Kell. A great book and excellent read. This book is so well written, while you are reading it, it is like a movie playing in your mind. I highly recommended this book to all who enjoys books in the realm of Gemmell, Jordan, and Goodkind. I happily welcome Andy Remic to now walk among the for mentioned greats.

Thank you Andy Remic, please give us more!
