If you want a good beachy vibe, then listen to this music. I can defintely picture someone surfing to this music, and there's some pretty cool Christian artists on here too. Definitely a win, win.

Great, feel good CD from a great movie...an eclectic mix of music, all of it well done...my teenager on down to my 1 year old (plus my wife and I) love to listen to it...most songs not overtly contemporary Christian, but the truth and fun shine through...

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the movie SOUL SURFER. I was even more surprised at how good the soundtrack is. Most of the tunes are uplifting and have a pop feel to them. Though the movie has a very strong Christian message, the SOUL SURFER SOUNDTRACK does not. That's the only thing I don't like about the album: it's missing the worship songs that were featured in the movie. With that said, there's not a song on the soundtrack that I don't like.

I enjoyed listening to all the songs from Soul Surfer, and my 5 and 3 year old constantly ask to hear the songs too. I noticed the "After Midnight" song from the night surfing scene was not on there, which disappointed me at first. But when I looked up the song I realized it has swear words in it (not heard in the movie), so I was glad they did not include that song. I wouldn't be able to listen to it around my kids otherwise, and I think that will be pleasing to the movie's large Christian audience. The songs are inspiring to listen to, and when I play the CD, I feel like I am watching the movie again.

Up-lifting and encouraging. Perfect soundtrack to listen to on my way to the beach:)

With artist like Francesca Battistelli, you can't go wrong.

I can't stop listening to this cd! It's so uplifting and positive, and fun and just takes you back to each scene in the film!

The cd was not bad, but I thought it would have more songs. and the actual cover looked like it was done on a printer along with top of the cd.

Got it for my GF's Bday. It is all she listens to in her car and she totes with it when we drive in mine.

Be careful when trying to by the soundtrack to Soul Surfer. There are 2 versions and they look the same. We listened to the "samples" on line and what I thought I was choosing to put in my cart ended up not being what I listened to. There is one CD that is all the Hawaiian instrumental music from the movie and then there are the lyrical songs. We wanted the instrumental and ended up with the lyrical version. Thankfully, Amazon was kind enough to do an exchange so I was not out anything. If you are looking for the instrumental music look for "Original Motion Picture Score Music Composed and Conducted by Marco Beltrami" if you are looking for all the other music, look for "Music from the Motion Picture"

This cd was missing so many of the beautiful instrumentals and the beautiful opening Native song that I love and was the main reason I wanted the soundtrack. That said, the upbeat songs that are on it are inspirational and good for surfing to. Too bad I don't surf. Absolutely love the movie and Bethany as a person.
