A Great Collection of Jackie's lesser-known records,

As any fan can tell you, Jackie Wilson is one of the great voices and performers of the sixties, yet one of the least recognized. This album is a must for any serious "old soul" fan. Why, then, do I only rate this album four stars? This particular collection is a nice compendium of his later recordings, but it is missing "Just Be Sincere." Since Amazon does not list the songs, let me assure you that all are original recordings, and that this collection does include "Whispers(Getting Louder)" and the magnificent "Your Love Keeps Lifting Me(Higher and Higher). The album is a great buy, and we can hope that more of the late departed Titan of Soul's stuff comes out soon. The Brunswick record company has done a good job here.

Jackie Wilson was as Bad as any Singer Before or since his only SIN was His SKIN but his VOice is timeless.Whispers(Getting Louder) starts this Must have with a Bang.Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher&Higher those Vocals are Special.What A DYNAMIC GENIUS.He is a True SOUL LEGEND.This Man was One of a Kind.
