Be careful when you pick this book up-it will suck you in. Thought provoking, fascinating and a treat for your eyes. So much to love and worth every cent. I plan on purchasing it for my friends because I want to experience it with others as well.

Exquisitely written and designed. Easy to read and navigate & a perfect conversation starter. I can use this book introspectively with a cup of tea or as a social prompt with guests.

A must have-absolutely.

In this book spiritual, philosophical and psychological ingredients are mixed with arts and humour to create a delicious mind feast which has a natural transforming power on one's being. It is fun and delightfully easy to read and yet the insight it generates is deep and meaningful. I love to share the important and thought provoking questions raised in this book with people at various gatherings and I find the discussions generated by these questions most interesting and very enlightening.

Book review by Richard L. Weaver II

This is an impressive book -- not a great one -- but it is striking. The artwork throughout is awe inspiring. You can just sit back, turn the pages, and be mesmerized by stunning impressions. Each page (or every-other-page) is full of astonishing, colorful, provocative, thought-inducing, and, in some cases, shocking images. What I had fun doing with each image was to simply try to imagine how the artwork related to the quotations on the page. In some cases this was easy; however, in some it was, indeed, a challenge. In many cases, the relationship was remarkably creative.

What I found most unique in the entire book were the first six-and-a-half pages where Rainn Wilson introduced himself and his life's journey. I found it honest (as honest as a reader who doesn't know Rainn Wilson at all can determine), straightforward, attention-grasping, and interesting. If you are wondering how Rainn Wilson determined life's essential questions, or what he reads and what he has experienced, or even how he became a spiritual being, he tells you.

If you want a taste of his humor, he talks about the time when he and Phil (a friend) were watching a Mets game in Phil's ramshackle apartment and Rainn told Phil about his "recent conversion to a belief in Wakan Tanka." They wanted to put his new belief to the test and the Mets were down 5-4 at the bottom of the ninth inning. Rainn held up his arms in prayer and said, "Oh great spirit Wakan Tanka . . . If it is your will, please allow Darryl Strawberry to hit a home run and win the game."

As soon as Rainn finished his prayer, THWACK, Darryl Strawberry "hit a two-run homer, and the Mets won. Phil and I looked at each other, jaws dropped. . ." (p. iv).

First off, I never knew who Rainn Wilson was before this book. One night I was watching late night tv and I saw this man promoting a book. I didn't think much of it. Out of curiousity, I researched the book and ended up purchasing it. It is phenomenal!!! I am 16 years old and I find this book to be inspiring, creative, empowering, and quirky. LOVE IT!!! The topics and quotes are amazing. I bought this for my best friend <3 I would recommend getting this book. To avoid dissapointment, open the book with an objective opinion.. thats what I did.

This book offers so much. There's tons of activities designed to be eye-opening, mind expanding mental exercises. There's even two separate lists of things to try once a week for a whole year (that's 104 activities in all). Some are little things, some are bigger, and are all challenging in different ways. This is definitely a book that improves upon further reading. I most certainly have to go back and complete all the written activities or act them out, what ever's called for. Many of them seem like great fun and others that have me super interested, even excited, to try. There's also plenty of relevant quotes and appealing statistics for each section, as well as a couple interviews (one with Rainn), a couple poems, and a humorous and insightful introduction written by Rainn Wilson. I'm not a huge fan of visual art, but the art in this book is incredible. Many of the pieces are the best I've ever seen. It really is a beautiful book. I also finished it with a slightly more positive perspective on life, which I believe can only improve once I take on some more of these interesting suggestions. I feel this book deserves 5-stars solely on the principle that I took more from this book than from many other books I've read (how many books truly inspire to get out and do stuff?). It also can't suffer from comparison as I've never read another book like this. This is a book that makes you think, and the more you put into it, the more you'll get from it. I'm surprised there's no reviews on here yet, this is a fascinating book.
