5.0 out of 5 stars OFF THA HOOK
This long awaited release from One Way was well worth the wait. The raw Holy Spirit inspired lyrics make ya think, the beats are hitting and keep your head bobbing, Morphiziz is a dope DJ! "We Don't Care" is so hype it will have you amped for days. "Love and Affection" shows the versatile style and content matter of the lyrics. Every track has...

3.0 out of 5 stars Sorry!!!
I am sorry to everyone who thought this was a great album. This in no way compares with the high quality of Cross Movement and CMR. Take any song from Truths album and its better than the best song here. I'm not tryna knock them cuz they are praising God. Amen to that but don't be confused by the reviews. Save your money and by a CMR, RR, Lampmode, ect . . . album. Get...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fantastic Voyage Indeed, December 19, 1999

This review is from: Souljourn (Audio CD)
Souljourn is more than just music,it is a journey with 4 catz that are a part of the hip-hop culture yet rollin with Christ Jesus. If you thought Sacred hip-hop wa corney then you aint been peepin it lately. Artist such as Urban Disciple, CrossMovement, Grits and Gospel Gangstaz is making an impact! 1Way is no different. The content is butta! The soundscape is innovative and eargasmic."Plasmatic Path" is the perfect blend of hip-hop and classical music, We On this" will have you sayin' the hook long after the song is over,& "Streams Of Thought" tells you exactly where this squad is coming from. While on this aural Souljourn,Morphiziz holds it down on the 1&2.The dj has been missing in Sacred hip-hop for quite some time but this kid is blessed. Peep "Qxidation" & "We On This" This is a definate must have for headz all over the globe. The sound is universal and the message is the truth. "He that knows the truth shall be made free, and if the truth sets you free you shall be free in deed!"

5.0 out of 5 stars New Fav., March 28, 2000

I heard that Souljourn was a tight album, so I decided to give it a shot. If you like Cross Movement and Grits, you'll love this. I think it gots beats like Cross movement, and Vocals like Coffee from Grits. Sometimes, I think I got the Grits CD in, they almost sound exactly alike. Souljourn's the best Christian Rap group out there so far, mad props to Proverb and the rest of the clan. I'll be lookin out for a new CD from them forever.

"souljourn"'s the coolest CD. me and my father use it to play frisbee, and no other CD flys better. If your looking for a good frisbee... BUY IT! Well, it's 7:30, way past my bed time, so I have to go. Father beats me if I'm 2 hours past my bedtime, and I have 5 min. left.
