4.0 out of 5 stars Stearn "proves" that love is as enduring as the stars.
Stearn makes you look deeper into yourself and reflect on the speed, intensity, and depth of your relationships. He writes of the experiences of normal people like you and I, who, with hypnosis softening the wall of time, slip comfortably back to a period when they lived and loved before. The resulting stories should change the way we all view life, death and love. This...

3.0 out of 5 stars Soulmates-Jess Stearn
I was looking for a more descriptive, informative guide to 'soul mates' phenomena, however, in purchasing this book, I found a more fictional type account - (likely to be based on factual collation of research) of the soul mate concept. It makes for interesting reading though.

This book can change your life and help you on your quest for your soulmate, the love to whom you can honestly say, "I feel like I've loved you forever."

So many people are confused about what a soul mate really is. We can have dozens in our lifetime. They do not necessarily have to be someone we stay with forever or that makes our lives all sweetness & light. They are "sacred contracts" we had with others in our "soul groups" from the spirit world. They are presented to us as messengers to help us learn certain lessons about love [which includes loving ourselves], compassion, letting go and letting God -among other things that only those 2 will be privy to. All of us are a 'soulmate' to someone else in this journey of evolutionary maturity. And we usually see each other again in another lifetime if we choose. But the reasons will change.
When Gov. Mark Sanford said his amour in Argentina was his "soulmate", I'm sure she is ONE of them. But his wife, Jenny, was, too. They are soulmates in different forms and for different reasons and lessons. Most people don't comprehend the whole concept, which confuses them and limits their ability to learn the lesson presented.
Jess Stearn's book is one of the best vehicles I have encountered to explain the multi-faceted definition{s} of a highy abstract concept. Myriad cosmic messages, signals, signs, lessons & personalities are bestowed upon us daily, minute by minute, whether we are fully cognizant of it or not, and it is incumbent upon us -for growth & development- to be aware, recognize, dissect, analyze and heed them, in order to fulfill our destinies and sacred contracts. Eventually, even if not as soon as one would like, the lesson will be revealed and the "Oh, so that's it" is indelibly stamped on the psyche. Understanding the reason & the lesson is like finally waking up & not living with pain, sorrow or unfinished business.
