Great book, such a waste without sound files., August 5, 2010
This review is from: Sound Equalization Tips and Tricks (Paperback)
Just got this book, and though I think this is one of the best books on the matter (concise and dense on its content) the sound files are imposible to play because the .zip file appears to be incomplete/damaged. Can't unzip it either on iMac OS x10.6 nor windows vista, downloaded from their website. Such a big sorry, probably I am going to ask for a refund. I have read a couple of books audio related and the real help/learning comes with the hearing/listening. I as a musician/composer am more related with musical ideas/theory than sounds, that's where the listening of an audio file becomes really important and makes a huge difference.
UPDATE as of 08/09/2010.
I got an email from the author (Eddie Bazil) who follow up my request with the publisher as they are the ones hosting the website where the file resides, I also got an email from the publisher and they re-upload the file on their ftp site... And now everything it's working!!!. Eddie shows to be a very serious person on what he does, not only on his book, but trying to do everything to solve my request. Very nice people at PC-Publishing too. Thanks a lot, not only for the files, but for this GREAT BOOK. I am sorry there are no more rating stars available at amazon to rate it higher.

A 'must' for any serious music collection, November 17, 2009
This review is from: Sound Equalization Tips and Tricks (Paperback)
Sound Equalization Tips and Tricks is an excellent pick for any library interested in technical guides to music processing. All kinds of equalizers and processes are covered in a fine collection written in layman's language offering explanations of all types of EQ, what they're used for, and how to use them. A 'must' for any serious music collection.
