These amazing SoundLogic iCapsule portable stereo speakers work great with MP3 players, CD players, computers, cellular phones and other mobile devices. Connect to your mobile devices via the 3.5 mm mini-plug and to your computer through the USB cable to recharge the iCapsule's internal battery. Not even worth the 10 bucks I paid for them.

Cords could get misplace because when you are in travel mode (egg shape) the cords don't have a built in storage.

My car radio doesn't work, so I figured I'd buy speakers that I could use in the car.

I bought these speakers for $10 only. They have a very cool look and feel. However, as their ratings say: "Amp Freq Range: 280Hz-16KHz". This means that you wont get the fidelity you are looking for from them.

At hight bass, they might start buzzing a little bit, and they are not very loud. But they serve me well because they are cheap and I bought them to use them as desktop speakers as they barely consume any space.

I recommend them, but don't expect too much from them.

I bought these speakers for my young son's iPod. They looked really cool and were not expensive - two key requirements. Once hooked up, they worked but as soon as you turned the volume up, they started to buzz. This is the third pair of speakers we have tried with the same result - cheap speakers equals crap sound.

I understand that looking for speakers at a cheap price point ($30 and under) will not provide great fidelity or kicking volume but an alarm clock radio provides better sound then these speakers. It would have been great if these speakers worked past the low setting since they look really cool and are portable.

My advise, look elsewhere. I am.

I got these speakers yesterday and have used them on my computer and with my Ipod Nano 6g and they work great. As for sound quality I think that it is pretty good for the price, I have paid more and gotten less in this department. Indoors in a quiet area these speakers are excellent, outside with traffic, birds, children, etc they are not as loud but decent. I bought these speakers at Menards on sale for $5.99, I just can't really complain. I was able to charge them and use them with the nano just fine.

The only issues that I see which have been previously mentioned are:
1) No charge indicator light, you need to know when you started charging them and leave them to charge for 4 hours. Charging them more can cause damage. Unable to tell how much charge they have.

2) Cords could get misplace because when you are in travel mode (egg shape) the cords don't have a built in storage. You can wrap them around, but nothing built in.

Bottom line: For the price it is a great product even thought it has some minor irritations.

I also picked these up for ten dollars, and still feel cheated. Supposedly, they have internal batteries that are charged via the included USB cord, but mine don't hold a charge; If I unplug the USB cord, the speakers go dead. Not a problem with a laptop, because you can just plug in the USB cord, but can't do that with an iPod.

Secondly, you need both the USB and 1/8" jack cord to listen; you run a 1/8" cord from the headphone jack to a line-in jack on one of the eggs, then the USB cord from the one speaker to the other, as well as the USB cord for power. Sound moves from the one speaker to the other via the USB cable. Weird.

Sound quality isn't that great. Compressing the "egg" together for storage is mildly entertaining, but since you can't store the cords internally, It isn't very practical.

Plus, the packaging was impossible to open without destroying it, or else I would return them. Stay away.

They are cute, charge easily, and magnetically snap together to make an egg shape so you dont lose them.

The cords come separate from the device, so I think it might be easy to lose them since they do not attach to the speakers when they are in travel mode. The twist off feature to open the compartments partially does cover the ports when they are in travel mode.

My only complaint, tiny as it is, is that the Close/Open Instructions on the devices themselves are backwards. You have to twist as it says to Close to get them open, and twist as it says Open to close them.

Sound quality is great, I use it for my shower time and the volume goes very high. The charge will hold for a good while. They Also look good and magnetize together so u don't lose them.

Buy.com had these on sale last week for $5 + free shipping. I couldn't resist. While they're not powerful, they suit my needs just fine. I needed speakers for my work computer and since I'm in the office, I can't turn them up that loud anyway. Having said that, I did crank them up when my coworkers were out of the office and they seem fine. They could never serve as serious speakers for a home theatre or anything like that but they're slighly better than built in laptop speakers which is all I needed.

Can't beat $5 either. Not sure why Amazon thinks they can sell them for $20.

Bought these at a drugstore for $10. These speakers have a decent sound, but the cleverness of the design loses its luster because of the cables. The blister pack hid the cables for a reason. The cables are not captured in the clever egg design. Both cables must be connected to use the speakers. Misplace either of the cables and the speakers will be inoperative. Only one of the speakers has a connector for the stereo cable. However, it doesn't have the battery, so you can't use it as a single speaker - both have to be connected with both cables. Poorly designed for MP3 players and portability.
