Its heavy onslaught of ripping guitars and relentless drums would not sound out of place on a Guitar Hero soundtrack. Of the album, frontman Brent Smith says 'In the seven years of this thing called Shinedown, I’ve seen a lot of different things - what we’ve all gone through on the road, things in our personal lives or witnessed firsthand through the fans that we’ve made and the relationships we’ve built with our audience. I think the biggest thing was I didn’t want to sugarcoat the way life can be sometimes.' Their face-melting rock comes as no surprise, considering that the band hails from sultry Jacksonville, Florida.

Wow...I bought this cd after hearing one of their songs on Pandora and havent taken it out of the cd player yet. Everyone I let listen to it loves it as much as I do. Every week I have a new favorite song. Right now its "What a Shame"
Every song is amazing in its own way. Nice change ups throughout the cd. (Crow and the Butterfly is slower) I sing these songs at work and everything. Love Love Love it!!! I am a hardcore fan now!

This is a one of the best cd's I have purchased in quite some time! My favorite track is the title track. One of those songs that has an adrenaline pumping beat. LOVE IT!
Great cd and the limited club edition is a great value with the fan club membership and and 3 extra tracks!
Worth every penny....

This is a great disc by one of the premier rock bands today.As on the previous two the singer sounds awsome and the new guitarist is as well.Ive seen them live twice now and they do not disappoint!!!
