I still have my vinyl albums, but having the The Partridge Family and David Cassidy CDs are wonderful. It brings back happy memories of my youth. I still remember the lyrics to all the songs. Thank you Amazon.com for making me happy again.

SOUND MAGAZINE was the third Patridge Family album and it is said it had a more sophisticated sound compared to all the others. The creation of The Partridge Family was brilliant. Only David Cassidy and Shirley Jones really sang but they brought in other backup singers for a unique, easy to define sound. Bubble gum music? Yes, but quality pop also.

It gets forgotten that David Cassidy really had a good singing voice. This set has the hits - BROWN EYES, RAINMAKER and I WOKE UP IN LOVE THIS MORNING but it is the other tracks that stand out more. This set isn't dated at all and each song is taken seriously and provides great pleasure. The opening ONE NIGHT STAND is amazing as is the truly soulful YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME. SUMMER DAYS and LOVE IS ALL THAT I EVER NEEDED are also standouts.

For all of you Partridge Family fans, this cd has wonderful remastering and sounds great. I grew up on this music and if you did too, give yourself a present and purchase this great cd.

I grew up with the Partridge Family. David Cassidy was my first love :) This is my favorite of the Partridge Family albums. The song "Summer Days" still to this day gives me chills. My daughters grew up with my love of Music from the 70's they are in their 20's now and can still sing along to The Partridge Family. My albums from the 70's are scratched and worn (I still have them ) They were loved and well used. Now I am buying The Partridge Family on CD and building my collection all over again.
I highly recommend this album !!!!!!!!

Loved this album when I was young.. Love it today again as I am older. Love the harmonies and the simple music.. It was great to kick back and listen to this music puts me in a great happy mood.. I love the track of Im on My Way Back Home.. Love that song the harmonies are just great. And I love Brown Eyes.. David sings Summer Days on his live DVD and its just awesome.. Great cd.. Partridges.

This was the very first album I ever owned (when I was 6). I still think it's fantastic and not dated at all! I think this is the best of the Partridge Family albums.

I love this kind of music. It remembers me my childhood when I watched the serie on television. I am really happy to purchase it. I listen to this music all the time.

The CD was great watching too since I knew most of the songs from the LP when I got the LP as a kid. It brings back found memories of the 1970's.

I love music from the 70's and grew up watching the Partridge Family. I just love this kind of music.
