This is a collection of hidden gems from the early days of the "Philly Sound". Some artists well known, but the songs are not necessarily the ones they are best know for.

Some of the music is as you might expect. Some of it is, Still great nonetheless.

All in all, this is a gem of an album. Was great to just put it on, enjoy the songs with no idea of who was who, then listen a second time while reading the extensive and well written liner notes.

Highly recommended for any music lover. I will definitely be snapping up the first volume as well!
