I bought these and another model from the same company at the same time because the price seemed pretty good, but mainly because they just looked nice. Now that I have them I can say I got a great deal because these earphones are AWESOME! I can't believe how good they are for what I paid for them. I've gone through at least 6 or 7 other brands of earphones and these are without a doubt the best sounding. Great bass, mids, highs and very very clear sound. They look to be made really well and have a heavier wire than what I usually see in earphones so I expect they will last longer. They also came with three sets of ear pads which I thought was a nice extra. The other model I bought (for my girlfriend) were pink ones called the "Juliet" and they are just as impressive and the color is an exact match to her Ipod. I'll give 5 stars to these earphones and will recommend them based on both pairs being made well, great sounding, and great price. They also came fast and the shipping cost was very fair.

These earphones are a bargain. They seem to have well balanced sound, considerably better than the earphones that came with my iPhone. I think they are as good as some Senheissers that cost twice as much. As a bonus with the foam cap supplied they fit perfectly, don't fall out when I move. Yet they let ambient sound in for safety. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Overall these are great headphones, they provide a crisp sound my only complaint and it is a minor one. Is that sometimes strong bass can be a little muddy and not as crisp as highs and mids. This however, is probably more on an indication I am using ear buds and not over the ear headphones than a knock on the Eclipse's.

This is my second earphone review at Amazon. The first one was for coby superbass earphones. I bought these to replace those which I bought to replace my sandisk sansa e260 earphones. And I'm somewhat positive these are better than original. These have a great range and very good bass. And everything is well balanced. It's not just all bass (like the coby earphones). I found the mid range most pleasing along with crisp highs and as I said, very good bass. I listen to music for hours and found these very comfortable.
Another advantage these have is that they look good too. And you can feel the quality of make when you touch the wires and the earpieces. It does not look or feel cheap at all. Infact, it looks and feels like something a lot more expensive. If you want a good set of earphones and don't want to spend a ton on it, I highly recommend this.
If you want a lot of improvement over your default headphones that comes with ipod, zune, sansa, and other mp3 players, maybe this is not for you. Be prepared to spend $100 or more if you want that. But if you just want to replace it, this, I believe is the best bang for bucks along with some qualitative improvement.

I use these, instead of the noise-isolating earbuds, for situations when I need to hear my environment (which is most of the time). These earbuds look good, have a balanced sound, and fit perfectly in my ear. I just now bought my second pair of these earphones. My first pair went through BOTH world wars [a.k.a. college, college, and... a few other things...] and lasted well over a year - probably a year and a half.

They stay in my ears during exercise, which for me is jogging several miles on the treadmill or elliptical. They stay in my ears even when the cord gets accidentally tugged by a backpack strap. I have literally seen my mp3 player go flying and have the headphones jerked out of the port, because the buds wouldn't come out of my ears. [the mp3 player is fine, and now sports a shock-absorbing soft case. :D]

The jack has survived being plugged and unplugged multiple times per day for a year and a half. I listen to music a LOT. These headphones have gone from my computer to my mp3 player to a friend's phone and back again. The jack is still good and - even better - it DIDN'T ruin my mp3 port!! [the last two pair did that.] When it's in a pocket or a case [which for me is most of the time] he straight-out jack puts less pressure on the port wall long-term than the more stylish angled jacks. However, the straight-out design does make the cord just inside the jack more vulnerable to breakage, which is what happened to mine. The connections near the earbuds themselves were still rock-solid. Personally, I'd much rather re-buy a $12 set of earphones than a $70 mp3 player.

The sound quality is GREAT. I listen to everything from rock/metal to classical, and these earphones rise to the occasion for every track I own. You can crank the bass WAAAAY up and the sound won't get distorted or buzzy. You can also play a high 'ping-ey' piano piece and the sound doesn't get tinny. Low volumes are clear and distinct, while high volumes are full and balanced. These are the best earphones I've ever tried that still let me hear my environment (which is a safety issue for me).

They're good earbuds: they fit perfectly, seem to be constructed solidly, and most importantly, sound good. I would've given it 5 stars but they just dont produce a full sound like Super-Bass Digital Stereo Earphones these coby super-bass buds did. On these "eclipse" earbuds percussion somewhat overpowers other sounds and electric guitars sound somewhat thin, regardless of eq settings. The eclipse earbuds are good, and look good, but i would rather have gotten my preferred, $10 cheaper Cobys.

Sound quality was good and they are comfortable ear buds. My only concern is the thickness of the wire, so far very durable and reliable though. For $20 this was a good purchase.

I have bought a lot of earphones in the past, many are well known brands. Some earphones are you get what you pay for, example: cheap earphones cheap quality. But these earphones are you pay a little and you get really alot, plus they look really nice. Everything is well balanced and everything is great with these earphones. Defenitely a bargain!!!!!

It's really all said in the title, and a view of the line of earbuds Sound2 produces all at attractive price points makes me curious enough to try others just to see how much better the sound can actually get at these prices - at least this can be said, the "Eclipse" for under $20 surpasses not only expectation, but I'd be hard pressed to find another that could best it so easily on looks, performance and value, but better still is there another out there that easily justifies getting more as spares or perhaps as little thank yous to special friends and co-workers? If so, I'd be interested. Thanks for reading my 3-cents shy of a nickel.

I am very satisfied with my earbuds. They produce great sound and block the outside noise. Moreover, they are back up by great costumer support.
