This review is from: The Sound of Strings (Audio CD)
This is one of those albums that makes me wonder about technology and all the "progress" that we see in different sectors. I just can't understand how is it possible that once you have these two great musicians together, you don't put the highest effort in getting also an excellent producer and having a perfect sound at the end.
The music in this album is flawless, beautiful and very sentimental; if you listen to it in an area speaker, you will enjoy every second of it. However, if you listen to it in a good set of headphones you will notice many production mistakes,... the basses really bother; when the two musicians play together and loud, you will really feel uncomfortable and at times you just want to stop the music. Play it on a speaker and you will miss all those disturbing noises. Please, people in the industry, invest more in producers so this beautiful music sounds as it must! |
