I don't know anything about Nick Wood. Unfortunately, the copy that I have doesn't have a liner book, only a cover sheet, so I have no info on this guy. Some of the music sounds like soundtrack instrumental stuff. Most of the music is instrumental, couple of songs have vocalists. There are sections with dialogue from (familiar??) movies.

Possible comparisons: kinda Eric Serra-ish (LA FEMME NIKITA) but not so electronic--there's more jazz, horns here on some tracks; Mars Lasar-ish (ELEVENTH HOUR) on some of the later tracks; maybe a little Mark Isham-ish (ROMEO IS BLEEDING) but again, this cd is pretty unique.

Try it, you'll like it!

We played them on heavy rotation on Bondi 88.0FM "The Prawn Lounge" amongst other programs during December Sydney 2001 soon after its release and took many calls from listeners.Sydney Australia. Rock on Regent Wood keep it happenin!
