this project by william murphy i must say is a 100% winner! i mean i am already a fan of the o so very "unique" sound that comes from this Man of God, he gotta sound that u aint neva heard b4 that is so anointed which makes him a killer artist in my book, b/c u cant honestly listen to his music and say "o i heard this b4." and as for the cd itself i think the title "the sound" bests captures the essence of what the cd is all about b/c it really gives off a sound that is distinct and what i believe a lot of people r looking for these days, b/c when it comes to gospel music, esp. worship i really believe that sound has been distorted w/beats, bass lines, computerized effects, too many riffs & runs, and most of all nobody wanna b themselves these days. wasup wit that??? but man i actually just happen to b in the bookstore and was lookin for something else and happen to c it sitting there, i had no clue that he even had a new project coming out and it was actually the 2nd day of its release, so i just picked it up and bought it, i didnt really read the titles or nuthin, and thats not usual for me b/c i usually need to hear at least 3 good tracks to invest in it. BUT MAN I AM SOOOOOO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS ONE!!! i didnt purchase his last cd, but heard most of the tracks and it was like 3 worship tracks on there that really took me in the presence of God, so since i didnt own the last cd i really couldnt compare too much. but all i can say is the flow on this cd is off da hook!!!!!!!!!! esp. on the worship songs, i mean it's straight worship, but there is a "unique" flow on them that is so diff. but not over the top to where its a turn off. only elder william murphy can pull this kind of stuff off, so i wouldnt recommend other artist even tryin. the worship joints on this cd got more of a prophetic flow to them, even though they are still arranged songs. there is a prophetic flow on the cd that is about 10 min. of just straight worship and i luv the ad libs and the feature vocalists that minister. my all time favorite on the entire cd is "amazing god" man i sometime wish that song never ended esp. at the end of the song. ITS AN AWESOME & WELL PUT TOGETHER PROJECT, this is definatley one for the worshippers. i aint bought a cd like this that i can just put on and lay on the floor and get in HIS face in a while. the only other artist that i would compare to him, not in style or flow but just in straight worship is martha munizzi. they are truly artist who are bringing the heart of worship to the forefront in the gospel industry and understanding that people need to be ushered into the presence of GOD and not confused about whether or not their listening to the latest r & b or hip hop cd that just happen to say gospel! BUT ON DA REAL BUY IT TODAY, U WONT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!

Dont get me wrong, I love the music and the songs...Angels Cry is my absolute favorite, I just find myself trying to fast forward through all the talking...only downfall in a "live" CD. I wish some of the talking had been deleted from the CD...But I would surely recommend it!!

I was blown away by the cd. It is worth the money to have in your collection. It is being used as a worship cd for me and it helps me rejoice.

THE SOUND! Praise and Worship music that ministers to each and everyone! A SOUND you never heard before...Pastor Murphy's music will take you to a place that you've never been before...Truly an annointed worshiper ministering to people all of the world. His songs are the songs that will take you through the day whether they're good or bad...His words reminds you that everything is gonna be alright....And like he say "The music is just not about him; it's music that God has placed in his heart to deliver to his children..And I can appreciate every song! My favorite is Angels Cry and Awesome ReMix. And let's not forget THE BEST WINE! If You don't have it! I suggest you to go out and get it....You will be truly Blessed by this Man of God!

I really admite William Murphy's songwriting ability and anointing to usher in the presence of God through worship. I enjoyed his previous CD and other works, but this new one (The Sound)is truly phenomenal. The songs, music, guest artists, background vocalists, new sound, remixes and everything is just awesome. I love the feel of the CD and how it flows. I have not heard the entire CD yet, only up to tracks 9, but I've enjoyed every song so far. Please invest in this CD. I just knew it would be quality music and I'm glad that I bought it. William Murphy is truly being elevated to another level and has a new sound.

Pastor William Murphy III has again come with the pure, uncut worship here and a couple contemporary tracks to add in as well. Not a bad cut on the album as it has a smooth flow to it throughout. Takes the All Day project to the next level and no need to skip tracks on this one. Buy it, don't burn it and be blessed by it.

WHERE IS THE DVD?!!!! I encourage all dancers and Prophetic Worship/Praise Teams to get this CD. This sound is Awesome, Annointed and you will not be disappointed. Don't expect to stay at the same spiritual level after hearing this CD.

This CD has taken my dance and relationship with the Lord to a New Dimension!!

I first heard Mr.Murphy, God's Anointed One on the Shekinah Glory CD and DVD. What a beautiful voice! My mother and I would watch it together. When I ordered this CD I didn't know that my Spirit would quiver, but as soon as I started to play it,my heart and soul was filled to it's capacity with the Lord Jesus! All of the songs are wonderful, but the one that started the tears to flow was the song "I'm Changing"! Wow, is all I can say. I was moved beyond words. My mother who is now with the Lord, instantly came to mind, how I miss her. I just want to say thank you to Mr.Murphy for using his voice for the Lord, so that God's children, like myself can rejoice in knowing that God knows his messengers, and He continues to bring forth those who bring his Word! This CD reconfirms my faith in the Lord each time I listen to it, I just got it today and I have been playing it over and over again. What a wonderful worship CD. Thank you for sharing God's gift, so that all of us who know Him and hear His word know that He lives and that His love for us will be with us all even until the end of time.

I will start by saying that I have never been a William Murphy fan. Nothing against him. I just never purchased his albums. I've heard them, but there was nothing that made me want to go out and buy them. That is, until this album. I love the first two tracks and the remake of "You Are Awesome". The only thing is that he does talk alot, so you have to fast forward to get to the actual song. There's also a couple of slow tunes where he sings for about 4 minutes before the actual song starts. Other than that, I love the CD! I would recommend this CD to anyone.

Great cd! my favorite song is Track #3. great message and the "You are Awesome" remake was an upgrade!
