Sound glitches on this set, too?

I recently purchased the single set of season six of Dr. Quinn for my mom. The first set had multiple sound glitches in a number of episodes so we returned it and tried again. Now this second set has them as well, which leads me to believe it is a manufacturing problem and we're not going to get a good set if we try again.

I thought I might try just purchasing this set of the complete series in hopes that it was manufactured with higher quality standards. To those who have this set (the 2009 one), have you noticed any problems with sound pops/glitches or other issues as you've gone through the series? On our season six sets I've noticed that the most glitches occur during the episode "Seven Kinds of Lonely." Also, I have tested the DVDs in multiple players, including my computer and they continually exhibit the sound problems in the same spots of each episode.

Thanks for any help/advice anyone can provide! :)

Hi, I went ahead and watched the "Seven Kinds of Lonely" episode and there are a few sound issues towards the end at the dance... it reminds me of a scratched record or old tape.

Thank you very much for checking that episode and letting me know. I appreciate it a lot. That is a perfect way of describing those noises, as well. I guess this is a problem with every set they've done. It is disappointing that they cannot manufacture a better product.

Thank you again for your response!
