5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Iconoclasm.
Shackleton & Appleblim are categorized as Dubstep - but make no mistake - these guys have their own distinct & unique sound that's not so easily pigeonholed.

For fans of Muslim Gauze, classic Dub, and general atmospherics, Shackleton is sure to satisfy. Appleblim, on the other hand, brings a distinctly 21st century aesthetic to play, with glitchy percussion...

3.0 out of 5 stars Its OK
I used to spin records, collecting every underground hip hop record and dub plate I could get my hands on. As a cd this album is just ok. The tracks drag on and seem to lose direction. Any one of these tracks would sound incredible in the right dj set. Talented dj's are essential to this album reaching its maximum potential

Not for the trendhoppers or those looking for the cookiecutter Dubstep wobble sound...
