I've been hooking my tv up to my stereo since the seventies. Yes that means I'm an old fart! I'm one of those guys that has enjoyed electronic gadgets and good sound since we called it Hi-Fi.
This speaker system had a number of things going for it right away. It requires a small amount of assembly, little or no setup, it is about as stealthy a system as you'll find while performing fantastically, it was reviewed favorably by the people that write about home theatre, and the price through Amazon was incredibly low.
The hidden bennie is that because it's wireless, and they're very stylish, they can be the first step in redecorating the living room ( happy wife) as well as the final step for putting together the home theatre without really looking like a surround setup. What a concept!
Because of their stylish good looks, and superior performance as speakers, you won't find a better one for the average living room (mine is only 11.5 ft X 15 ft). One speaker can do both channels if you're on a budget. I bought 2 (both with wireless maestro transmitters) so once the new wears off I'm gonna do some experimenting.
The only shortcoming (and this is only probably in my setup) is the floor switches and power to the speaker amps is on the same cord (I'm going to set them up on an X-10 setup for convenience) and the floor switches seem to attract the admiration of my dog. I got them zip tied to the stems right now.
In closing, the looks and wireless archetecture make these a sure thing ticket to wedded bliss, and outstanding performance make them a must buy.

I love these speakers. Look great and sound fantastic. I use them for rear speakers on my surround sound system. However, the lightbulb blew and when I replaced the bulb, the light did not come back on. Speaker worked, just no light. After taking the floor switch apart, I was alarmed to find the fuse was blown and it was soldered in. That's right, a $300 speaker and they solder in a 5A cheap fuse. Yes, soldered in. Not replaceable. I spent $20 on an iron and spent an hour replacing the fuse. So, BEWARE! It shocks me that this company would resort to such a cheap solution. I would expect it on a $99 speaker, but not one for $300. Seriously, Soundolier should be ashamed. They need to fix this on future products. I even sent them an email and no response from them. I guess they don't care about service after the sale. Again, love the sound and the look, but just confused on the cheap soldered in fuse in the floor switch.

I bought these speaker a few months back and love them! I hooked them up to my Logitech Bluetooth adapter and found them to work perfectly together. Not only do I have wireless speakers but also have Bluetooth wireless speakers with my set up. Everyone that see them are very impress and both the speaker quality and the look. Only odd thing was it did not work with as my rear computer speakers, don't know if it was me or the speaker but whatever, I much prefer them upstairs in the living room and kitchen. Bit pricey but if you can afford them, get them.

This is the best Christmas present I ever got. Now I can hear
music and various educational programs off my computer in places other than my home office.
As a fan of PANDORA radio, playing my kind of music with no commercials, brings a whole new aspect to my entertainment from one end of the house to the other. No fuss, no muss thanks to being wireless.I love it!
A friend told me that her church got one of these and it is being used very effectively to bring music and various programs to rooms previously not in the loop.

This is a terrific product, but I'm sorry: you can't get 5 stars for a speaker/lamp combination that costs $758 for a pair of wireless speakers and includes a couple of lamps! Maybe when it is $400-500 for a pair...
