This CD is bumpin. I highly recommend this CD to those that enjoy and appreciate the distinguished sounds of the beloved Chicago Underground House Scene. Lego's blending from track to track is smooth and flawless. I especially enjoyed the tracks that Lego created. 'El Ritmo de Verdad' is a very catchy and hypnotic song. I first heard 'El Ritmo de Verdad' one evening at Karma(Sound Lounge) and the response was just crazy. He demonstrates a keen sense of keeping the rhythm constant instead of the slow to fast style that some,'self proclaimed pseudo', house DJ's play in the clubs these days. If you get the fortunate opportunity to see this Wizard live, be prepared for a real treat. If not, I recommend picking this up, gather some close friends or significant other(s),whatever the case might be, and let the rythmn move you to sounds of the underground.

If you yearn for the good ol' days of disco funk with a strong horn section (Quazar, Zoom, Fat Larry's Band, Crown Heights Affair, Bohannon, etc. etc.), this will take you back. But it's totally contemporary in voices, arrangements, etc. Tracks 7 and 11 are worth the price of the CD, and there's lots of other good stuff, too.

This cd is a very accurate representation of the Boom Boom Room @ the Red Dog. I have been to the Monday night venue on several occasions so I anticipated that the cd would be a good one. I must agree with "A Music Fan from Chicago" that Track One seemed bit out of place for the mood of the cd, but after Track Two the cd just takes off! Favorite tracks include "Music Is My Way Of Life" (Track Two),"Bust The Vibes", "I Found It (Yes It's You)", "Desparate Situation", "Livin' On Mars", "Cada Vez" and "No Time To Lose". This is basically half the cd! One other thing to point out is the transitions from Track Seven to Track Ten is a favorite "moment". Buy the cd, play the tracks and you'll see what I mean!

This CD is definitely one of the most soulful collection of tracks I've heard. Lego has created the definitive example of Chicago underground house as it is today. My favorite track is #12 - Cada Vez. I'm a huge fan of Latin flavor and rolling flute solos so this track couldn't be more perfect. In my own opinion, tracks 1 and 2 seemed... "out of place", though they were good on their own. Aside from that, this album is close to perfect.
