This CD is very serene. As an urbanite, who is an amateur herpetologist, the sounds of frogs in a pond or lake calms me. If you are truly interested in learning about North American frogs and toads, listen to "The Calls of Frogs and Toads" by Lang Elliott.

So many CDs include music or chanting with natural sounds -- this is just the frogs, which is exactly what I wanted. I moved to the west coast last year from the east and I miss the frogs and crickets. This CD takes me back (without having to suffer the humidity)!

This recording is of natural sounds only, no music. The recording and mastering quality is excellent. This is the best recording I have heard of frogs so far. The sounds come in waves.
